Taikai Hungary II, Budapest 1 / 2

with Shihan Pedro Fleitas, 15 Dan from the Canary Islands

This Taikai was celebrated in one of the most fantastic martial arts facilities that Europe has to offer. The name of this Budo temple is the Budokukan, and has been built into an old church with 4 levels of training facilities with total luxury right in the center of Budapest.

Our good friend and teacher Shidoshi David Holt organized a fantastic Taikai in which Bujinkan members of several countries came to participate with each other under the guidance of Shihan Pedro Fleitas along with his personal student Miguel Sanz of Madrid.

Pedro showed the concepts of Kuki Taiso through the Kukishinden Ryu techniques, with and without weapons. And at the end of each day, Pedro revealed to us, ways of keeping a warrior healthy, physically and spiritually, in order to live a long and happy life.

We had such a wonderfull time in Budapest. It was a sad moment when we had to say goodbye and leave for our homeland, but alive in us is the everlasting fire of the Bujinkan spirit that fills our hearts with happiness, over our perserverence, when we will meet again, to celebrate the nature of mankind.

We wish everyone good luck and hope to meet you again at the next TAIKAI!
